Alex grew up in Europe, graduating from the American School of the Hague. He holds degrees in Math from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Music from Manhattan School of Music. He has taught math and music to middle and high school students for over 15 years and tutors all levels of math as well as the SAT and ACT. What he loves most about working with students is getting to that moment when things fall into place. All of a sudden, a student who couldn’t is running at 90 miles an hour!

In his free time, Alex likes to cook, fold origami, and read.
